Okay, we know the world of pOp has been a bit dull of late and we know full well that it needs a total unadulterated steroidal injection of pOp wondrousness (our thesaurus is working overtime today)… But there’s a limit. Take That were first to do the re-union thing and how. Then East 17 had a crack. Then Five tried their hand. Boyzone followed suit. We all know that once band members and their sometimes over-inflated egos realise that being a solo artist might not have been the best and most profitable career move, they crash down to earth with a thud and look back heavy-heartedly at what they once had.
But ‘boyed’ by the success of the Take That reunion, Blue is reportedly close to signing on the dotted ‘comeback’ line. They only broke up in 2005!? Did they just go on holidays? According to London’s “The Sun”, Duncan James is the only member who’s been reluctant to give the reunion the green light. Watch this space.
Meanwhile – don’t forget to vote in our “best boyband of all time” poll – in the right hand column. You know you want to…
