They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Consider the Pet Shop Boys extremely flattered. After their sensational pOptastic 2006 debut “Goes Petshopping”, Swedish pOp duo Isabelle and Rosanna (aka West End Girls) are on the verge of releasing their sophomore album, “Shoplifting”. The first single to be lifted from it is “What Have I Done To Deserve This?” – a cover of the Pet Shop Boys/Dusty Springfield classic of the same name.
Though in place of Dusty and completing the role reversal, it features the vocals of Magnus Carlson of Swedish rock/pop group “Weeping Willows”. No word yet on release dates for either single OR album, but we can almost guarantee it won’t get a local release… :(

I’ve not been a big fan of the girls but I do like their version of this song……
