James Morrison (the singer, not the trumpet guy) burst onto the pOp scene two years ago with his uplifting mellow hit ‘You Give Me Something’, a song that saw the then 21 year old with a top ten hit in Australia, a top five placing in his native UK and worldwide singles sales in excess of one million copies. His debut album ‘Undiscovered’ continued the success, hitting the top spot in Britain, top 20 Down Under and going on to sell more than three million copies throughout the world. We’re thrilled to say he’s back with the first single from his forthcoming second album ‘Songs For You, Truths For Me’, due out in Australia on September 29. We reckon the thing that makes James connect so well with his audience is that we get the feeling that he means and feels every single word he sings. There’s a certainly vulnerability in his voice in this new track and it feels as instant and likeable as anything on the first album. And if ‘You Make It Real’ is any hint at what the new album contains, we say bring on September 29!
