Just to keep you in the loop… There’s still been no response from Warner Music re: a physical release of ‘The One’ despite our repeated requests. We’re aware that Aussie record companies usually won’t press a physical single these days unless they can guarantee single sales of 1000 copies. On speaking with Central Station Records this week re: Dannii’s single releases, we were told that her singles usually sell around 5000 copies. Given that Kylie has a larger fan base, she’s about to hit home shores for a tour and that ‘The One’ is (physically) unreleased anywhere else in the world, we maintain that despite low airplay of the single in Aus, ‘The One’ should be a shoo-in for an Australian exclusive physical release. Meanwhile, both the radio edit and the club mix Freemasons remixes of the single have now (finally) been made available at iTunes in Australia, two months after they first appeared on the UK iTunes site and three months after they first leaked to the net.

I agree – what are Warners waiting for – the fans want a physical release & if Warners do it they will get ALOT of overseas ales as well as local – its a win win.
Surely a big international company can’t be that stupid…..can they??!!??
