It’s been a heck of a long time between drinks for Melbourne electro band Infusion, who found fame and fortune with their singles ‘Girls Can Be Cruel’ and ‘Natural’ four years ago. They followed the success of the singles (‘Girls Can Be Cruel’ picked up the ARIA Award for ‘Best Dance Release’ in 2004) with a successful album (‘Six Feet Above Yesterday’ also won the ARIA for ‘Best Dance Release’ in 2005) before hitting the road and becoming one of the darlings of the festival circuit through the UK, performing at (among others) Glastonbury. The new single is ‘Dogtown’ and is the first track to be lifted from the band’s as-yet-untitled new album, due for release in early 2009. You can keep tabs on what the band’s up to on their OFFICIAL MYSPACE.
