Okay, it’s official – the Swedes are taking over the world – and rightly so when they’re exporting pOp music like Lykke Li. The 22 year old’s debut album ‘Youth Novels’ was released here in Australia in early September to much fanfare and many glowing reviews – the same reviews it’s grown accustomed to all over the globe, including in her native Sweden. So the vibe created down under has demanded a Lykke Li tour – and it’s now announced that not only will she play the two (sold out) Falls Festival dates in Victoria and Tasmania, but she’ll also perform shows in Melbourne, Sydney and at the Southbound Festival in Western Australia. Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday October 17 (apart from the Falls Festival dates which, as previously mentioned, have sold out.
