We’ve said it before, but we reckon Jesse McCartney is going places – his latest album ‘Departure’ was just that, as the singer successfully made the musical move forward. He’ll also be a very rich man indeed, thankyou very much, after co-penning the monster worldwide hit for Leona Lewis ‘Bleeding Love’. The second single from his own album, however, seems to have taken an eternity (okay, about six months) to make it’s way into the public eye, and this is the result – a smooth piece of r&b pOp that wouldn’t sound out of place on radio stations the world over. The video? Well it appears that ‘Bleeding Love’ has allowed Jesse to splash out on some hip new furnishings for his spacious apartment. He’s got the latest iPod, a swanky new stereo system and black CDs (there’s something new!). But as the song progresses, it becomes clear that he’s surrounded himself with all these swanky things to make up for the love that he’s lost and the dream begins to crumble around him. We suggest it might be wise to stay out of his way for a while – you might get injured! He’s no JT just yet, but the 21 year old is well on his way.
