Must admit, we’re completely taken with ‘Bravado’, the debut EP from Melbourne artist Miami Horror (aka Ben Plant). With it’s ’80s synth samples, electro beats and mainstream pOp sensibility, the single caught our ears a few weeks ago when it was sent to media. But when you combine the deliciously ’80s sound with the authentic ’80s look of the video, you kinda start to wonder – was this REALLY produced in the new millennium? And was it REALLY produced by a guy who was born smack bang in the middle of the decade it so accurately portrays? Well consider the answer to both questions a resounding yes. The five track EP is in the shops this weekend.

Amazing clip, amazing ep. “Bellevue” and “Illumination” being the picks, I think.
