JORDY : It’s Christmas (C’est Noël)
Poor little Jordy – at the age of just four, his parents had him at the top of the pOps in France with his debut single ‘Dur Dur D’être Bébé’. But given that the season is fast approaching, we thought we’d dust off his last single release before the French Government banned him from TV and radio out of fear he was being exploited by his parents – ‘It’s Christmas (C’est Noël)’.
It’s a happy, bright and breezy song about white blankets of snow, fireplaces and Christmas trees. That’s Jordy there – on the roof with old Santa, helping deliver parcels to good boys and girls the world over. How he got clearance to get on that sled, we’ll never know – we’ve been trying for YEARS!
With a chorus of kids voices, it does get a little annoying after a few minutes, but we’ve got to take points off the pint-sized pOppet for leading the rest of the children into the fireplace. Only Harry Potter gets away with that – and even then, he’s got to have a handful of Flew Powder.
