What in the world is going on here!? A video clip that goes for more than six minutes!? Yes indeed – and it’s by Bad Boy Records’ Janelle Monae, an artist who’s about to get some belated loving
in Australia. It’s very futuristic, very stylish, clever and very, very polished. The kids are going wild for cyber-being Cindy Mayweather, who’s ‘do-ing’ to a very familiar Sesame Street melody. Stylistically, she appears a little like a cross between a female version of Andre 3000 from Outkast and Grace Jones. It’s a pretty epic clip!
