Sony Music Australia has today announced that Natalie Bassing-thwaighte’s debut album ‘1000 Stars’ will finally hit retail stores on February 21. Featuring the top ten single ‘Alive’ and the second summer dance smash ‘Someday Soon’, the album has been co-written by such pOp luminaries as Paul Barry (part of the Metro team) and Steve Anderson (of Brothers In Rhythm fame). Natalie is excited to be able to present a new chapter to her ever expanding life story, “This is the first time I’ve been able to fully express myself creatively. I’ve had so many amazing experiences in my career. I’ve been punky with the Rogue Traders and more sophisticated as a TV host and I’ve played characters on stage and TV and had so many costumes and outfits. This album allowed me to strip back all that and just be the real me. It is the sum of all those things in my life so far,” she said. “Sometimes I want to rock out, sometimes I want to be acoustic and emotive and sometimes I want to be as camp as I can be. This album is as eclectic as I am.” We look very much forward to hearing the results.
