As he revealed on last Thursday night’s Bushfire Appeal telecast on Channel 9, Jimmy Barnes has released an exclusive live album on iTunes, with all proceeds going to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund. Not only is Jimmy donating all his proceeds from the sale of the album, but his record company Liberation Music and his publishers Mushroom Music, EMI Music Publishing and Apple are all donating 100% of their proceeds to the appeal too. The album was recorded live at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and is available exclusively through iTunes for a tiny, tiny $3.39AUD. Jimmy was undoubtedly proud of the way everyone has pulled together to support the victims. “Importantly, the people who buy this album can rest assured that every single cent from the purchase of it will go to the bushfire appeal. It’s a good buy for all involved. Not only are music fans getting a bargain, but we’re all in this together for an extremely important cause. Everyone’s involved; myself, Liberation Music, iTunes and the publishers are all committed to this”, he said. The album contains 12 tracks, including songs from his previous album ‘Out In The Blue’ and is available on iTunes now.
