CAHILL : Sex Shooter

Originally penned by Prince and re-released in 2007 by Melbourne artist Firefox, it seems the UK still can’t get enough of the mega-club smash ‘Sex Shooter’. This time around, Birmingham production trio Cahill have roped in the vocal talents of Nikki Belle to recreate the track for the 2009 audience, to be released in the UK sometime in March. And while we like the Cahill version of the track, we must admit to thinking it’s not THAT different to the version released by Firefox and Vinyl Pusher Records in Australia just two years ago. The clip’s a little raunchy, however, with singer Nikki barely clothed in a few pieces of well-positioned jewellery, before the bevvy of scantily clad women around her begin to squirt fluorescent liquid all over the place. It’s left us a little hot and bothered.
