The 2009 ING Australian Formula One Grand Prix hits Melbourne’s Albert Park once again at the end of March. And with rock supergroup The Who already confirmed to perform their only Melbourne concert after this year’s inaugural twilight race, organisers have also announced that they’ve booked two of this country’s biggest dance acts to headline very special ‘Sidetracked’ shows on the last two days of the Grand Prix festival. On Saturday March 28, Sydney dance outfit The Potbelleez will keep crowds entertained trackside, along with special guest DJs. Then on the final day, Sunday March 29, the all conquering Sneaky Sound System will take to the stage, performing all their hits, ably supported by the likes of John Course and Goodwill. Tickets for the Sidetracked events cost just $10 more than general race entry tickets, so punters can catch all the highlights of the racing calendar while treating their ears to the aural delights of some of the country’s finest music. Tickets are on sale now.
