More details are emerging of the Pet Shop Boys new album ‘Yes’, with a strictly limited edition version of the album, ‘Yes Etc.’ also now set for release on March 20. The limited edition version features a second disc, full of dub remixes and a previously unreleased track (‘This Used To Be The Future’) featuring Phil Oakey of Human League on guest vocals. It’s suspected that as with previous limited edition releases, they’ll be sourced from Europe and will be available through a small selection of music stores locally.
Meanwhile, the boys have also announced that there will be two CD singles of the forthcoming single ‘Love Etc.’ released in Britain. The first is a two track single featuring an exclusive b-side called ‘Gin And Jag’ and the second is a CD full of six remixes from the likes of Kurd Maverick and Frankmusik. The singles are released in the UK on Monday March 16, but sadly there’s no physical single planned for Australia.
