We always suspected the recent reunion of Irish boyband Boyzone was a tricky little ploy by Ronan’s record company to get the name ‘Ronan Keating’ back into the front of people’s minds, but we didn’t think that the return of said pOpstar with a new solo record would be happening quite so soon. So we’re assuming this collection of ballads (including cover versions of Cyndi’s ‘Time After Time’, Joni’s ‘Both Sides Now’ and R.Kelly’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’) will make a great gift for mum for mothers day – it’s out in the UK on March 09 (no local release scheduled yet). And credit where it’s due, he looks bloody hot on the cover.
