It’s release may have been delayed a few times here in Australia (it’s currently set down for an April 17 in-store date), but details have emerged about what fans can expect from the deluxe new release from Icelandic pOpstrel Björk. And the singer has most certainly not disappointed. ‘Voltaic’ takes Björk’s latest album ‘Volta’ in an entirely new direction, with both CD and DVD content spread across an impressive four disc boxset. Included is a CD of live recordings, a CD of remixes of the singles from ‘Volta’, as well as a DVD of live performances and a DVD of video clips. It appears to be an impressive looking package – not that it should come as much of a shock. Björk has always been one to make sure the fans get a whole lot more than just a disc and some sleevenotes with pretty pictures. Look for Voltaic instores on April 17.
