Britons seem to have fallen in love with US songstress Lady Gaga, this week affording her her second No.1 single in the UK. ‘Poker Face’ has debuted at No.1 on the UK singles chart this morning, knocking off the Comic Relief charity single ‘(Barry) Islands In The Stream’. The Pet Shop Boys, meantime, have debuted at No.14 with their new single ‘Love Etc’, a slightly disappointing debut given two CD singles were made available and the album was yet to be released. Former Boyzone frontman Ronan Keating has debuted at No.1 on the country’s album chart with his covers compilation ‘Songs For My Mother’, released in time to co-incide with Britain’s Mothers Day celebrations yesterday.
