We know that artists tend to work hard when it comes to promoting their music throughout Australia, but 19 year old Perth native Claire Clarke really takes the cake – she’s going to be extra-ordinarily busy throughout the coming months promoting her brand new single ‘Shut Your Mouth’. She’ll be touring schools as part of the ‘Rock The Schools’ program ’til late June, there’ll be competitions on Video Hits, the Hot 30 and The Hot List, plus a performance on Kerri-Anne. If that wasn’t enough, she’s also the West Australian Ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund and Earth Hour, will see her fashion-designed t-shirt hit Supre stores throughout the country from June, will chat to radio and print media the length and breadth of the country and will release her second album, also titled ‘Shut Your Mouth’. She’ll have her music featuring in showbags, on radio commercials, and with any luck on radio and TV nationally. Her MYSPACE SITE has scored more than 1.75 million hits and from the amount of money being splashed around in order to make this girl a success, she’s all but guaranteed to succeed. Distributed by Shock Records, the ‘Shut Your Mouth’ physical CD single is due in-stores on March 27. We just hope through everything that Claire can take a little time out to relax with a nice cup of tea. We think she’s going to need it.
