New York based outfit the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are excitedly counting down the days ’til their latest long player ‘It’s Blitz’ hits the stores. True, they have but a few more weeks to wait for the mighty event to occur, but not sitting on their hands, they’ve unveiled the clip to the first single ‘Zero’. Backstage at San Fransisco’s Warfield Theatre (we’ve well been googling today), the band is busily applying make-up in preparedness for the impending show. The band members speak to each other in some decidedly strange voices and head on out to the salivating crowd. Stepping out to the other side of the red curtain, we discover that Karen is actually not on stage, but in some strange back alley, making her way towards Chinatown. And after dancing Brian McFadden-esque on the roof of a couple of parked cars and scaring a couple of locals with her music hi-jinx, she takes some time to join her bandmates and go shopping. Gosh, what an involved day she’s had! She’s surely going to have to go home, slip into her fluffy pink mules and wrap her hands around a generous cup of Earl Grey just to cope with it all.
