We have absolutely no information on new UK female three-piece Boom, but what we’ve seen in this, the video for their debut single, is strangely reminiscent of Scooch’s ‘Flying The Flag’ clip. Picture the three girls, all working as hostesses for the fictional ‘Boom Airways’, all dressed in mini skirts so small they could be handkerchieves. Maria, Helena and Katya are all beautiful, there’s no denying it, and they purr their way up the aircraft aisles, flirting with each character to board. They include ‘Cowboy Dan’, ‘Pedro’ and ‘Kofi’ and as the fictional plane makes it’s virtual way from London to South Africa, there are all sorts of suggestive shenanigans going on. The plane ride even takes a detour from LA to Adelaide (or what appears to be Adelaide), before there’s the obligatory mention of the mile high club and the cockpit. If you loved the Vengaboys, you’ll love this – it’s simple, good-time pOp.

Hey Anonymous #3,
We’d suggest that given the track was released four years ago, the band may not be around any more.
It was super-hard to get any information on them at the time, let alone now.

This group is russian. Used to be called !BUM! same as boom but in russian. Katya is the lead, she used to be with 2 guys, but for the sex appeal they changed it to 2 ladies. The song was about holidays( from school) or in russ Kanikyli. This was so until some German group beFour changed the song to what it is in English.
And now the original girl is singing it.

This has to be a very good way to go on holiday! Imagine yourself on a trip (that takes more than 2 days) from London to South Africa, then to USA and after that Australia with these 3 beautiful girls on board…
(personally, I liked Helena most ;-)
Good luck with the next song and ehh…
call me when the plane is ready ;-p
