ISRAEL : Noa & Mira Awad – There Must Be Another Way
Israeli actress and singer Mira Awad is teaming up with fellow Israeli songstress Noa (Achinoam Nini) to perform the official Israeli entry for Eurovision 2009, ‘There Must Be Another Way’. Mira becomes the first Arab-Israeli to represent Israel in the competition, and together with Noa, she co-wrote the track with Gil Dor. Sung in a mixture of Israeli, Arabic and English, the song’s strong point is most definitely the girls’ harmonies, which are flawless.
