LeToya Luckett, founding member of Destiny’s Child, will release her brand new album ‘Lady Love’ in the United States in June. It will be the singer’s first album in three years and only her second solo effort, following on from her two albums with Destiny’s Child (she left at the turn of the century) and her self-titled solo debut. The new album’s first single is ‘Not Anymore’, a rather poignant track in which LeToya sings of a man who’s not doing her right before she finally garners the strength to say ‘I don’t want it anymore’. The clip, set in the 1960s, features the singer achieving airplay success with her single, while her man cozies up alongside one of her back-up singers. Suffice to say, she’s had enough and boots him off the tour bus. Years down the track, he realises his mistake, when his co-worker describes her as ‘Sweet Potato Surprise’. We’ll let you make your own mind up about that – here’s the RECIPE.
