Looking every bit the local chanteuse on the cover of her new CD ‘The Best & Le Meilleur’, Aussie songstress Tina Arena has released this 19 track best of album in France. Containing some of the singer’s biggest French hits including ‘Aller Plus Haut’, ‘Les Trois Cloches’ and ‘Je M’apelle Baghdad’, the disc also features signature hits ‘Chains’ and ‘Symphony Of Life’, as well as the previously unreleased ‘This Universe’. Locally, meanwhile, a new deluxe combined box set packaging of both her ‘Songs Of Love And Loss’ albums looks set for release on April 17, though strangely, even though it’s available for pre-order on a number of Australian music retail sites, the product still hasn’t appeared on EMI’s weekly release schedule. More info on this as it comes to hand.
