* Fans of Aussie songstress Tina Arena are excited that following the leaking online of tracks, Tina has pressed a limited edition CD of songs recorded for her never-released ‘Peel Me’ album. The disc features nine tracks including ‘Take Me Apart’, which the singer performed as part of her past Greatest Hits tour.
* We hear from a source close to the girls that the new Bananarama album is beginning to take shape. It is reported that the new album is set to include six cover versions, six new songs and a few remixes of the girls’ previous hits.
* It’s been a long time coming, but the finishing touches are currently being put in place on the video clip for the David Guetta/Kelly Rowland collaboration ‘When Love Takes Over’. It’s due within the next week.
* Mariah Carey has announced the title of her forthcoming album will be ‘Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel’. The singer is set to release the new album in the third quarter of the year.
* Jessica Mauboy’s new single ‘Because’ was the No.1 most added new track at radio last week, scoring additions from the Nova network, as well as 2DayFM in Sydney.
* Last week’s most played song in the country, Pink’s ‘Bad Influence’, has slipped to No.3 on the national airplay chart, surrendering the No.1 position to The Script with their single ‘Breakeven’.
* And Stomp is set to release the new Hercules & Love Affair compilation ‘Sidetracked’ in Australia. The 25 track, two disc set features a brand new Hercules & Love Affair exclusive, along with tracks from Westbam and the Todd Terry Project.
