It may seem like a long shot, but the female half of British brother and sister pOp duo Same Difference thinks the band might like to head to the other side of the world to crack the Aussie pOp market. In an interview with Britain’s ‘The News’, Sarah Smith believes their being dropped by their record company earlier this year due to poor sales may just have a silver lining and says that their pOp future may lie down under. “Now we can take our album to Asia or Australia where pop music is particularly thriving”, she’s quoted as saying. And while we at auspOp would welcome Sean and Sarah with open arms, we’re not just sure that a country where radio has a penchant for all things American would be quite so welcoming.

OOH! I hope so! I’d love for the album to be released down here – Not sure if it’d do too well though! We can always hope though!
