While we know this cute track from Lily Allen’s album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ was never slated for single release early on, it’s pOpularity around the world has almost forced the hand of her record companies in some countries. In Australia, the song has peaked so far just outside the top 20, while in Europe, it’s seen her atop the singles chart in Belgium and scrounging around the top ten in other continental countries. So Lily’s made a video. And we’ve got to say that not only is it rollicking good fun, but it’s extremely clever. Taking what’s essentially a program called ‘Photo Booth’ and applying the premise to a day in the life of Lily Allen. And while the first 30 seconds may look like just another day in the life of Lily in Paris, it all of a sudden turns into a strange and somewhat twisted way of getting back at the world. Very clever and all rather original.
