UK popsters Simian Mobile Disco really hit the big time in 2007 with their single ‘I Believe’. It was the third single lifted from their debut long player ‘Attack Decay Sustain Release’ and we spent many a night in many a club, suffocating in the path of the fog machine, dancing to it’s electro-driven synth-dance goodness. Fast forward two years and the two-piece is back with the first single from their forthcoming album ‘Temporary Pleasure’. It ups the tempo on the previously mentioned single, with a clip that seems like we’re peering through a keyhole into the lyrics of the song. There’s a myriad of foodstuffs, some funky blue gumboots, a toy car, some wires and phone cords, robots, silver sneakers and an abundance of colour that’s a treat to the senses.
