It was just over the weekend when we reviewed the album ‘Pillage Before Plunder’ for her collaborative effort with former Leonardo’s Bride member Dean Manning, Holidays On Ice. But once again, the singer is stepping out solo with her new single ‘I’m Afraid Of Fridays’, the first from her forthcoming (as yet untitled) sophomore album. Produced by Mister Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicholson, and co-written by Hunters and Collector’s frontman Mark Seymour, the track has a great Aussie pedigree and is an effortless and stylish country-tinged folk/pop number, dusted with Angie’s Aussie twang. The single is released digitally on September 04, but if you can’t wait that long, Angie’s also playing two very special shows, at which she’ll showcase from of the songs from her forthcoming album. Tickets for both are already on sale.
