There’s something altogether likeable about the new Wes Carr single – it’s warm, organic, inviting, laid back acoustic pop that would work on pretty much any radio station in the land. And it seems that it’s already finding favour, becoming this week’s second most added song to Australian radio (behind the new Eskimo Joe single). It also has a video clip that totally matches the mood of the song, all dimmed lighting and stripped back production, except for a couple of shots on the couch in which Wes looks almost frightened of the camera’s gaze. There’s no doubting Wes’s appeal.
