Interscope Records over in the United States have just revealed the cover images for the forthcoming repackage of Lady Gaga’s album ‘The Fame’. ‘The Fame Monster’, released in Australia on November 20, will come in two editions – the standard edition (top) and the deluxe edition (below).
As mentioned on auspOp earlier today, the deluxe edition cover will be limited to just 10,000 copies in it’s original print run. A limited edition version of the album is also planned for a December release.
(The more we look at them, the more we’re actually starting to think that the top image may be the limited version and the bottom image the standard version – the above image looks suspiciously like it’s in the dimensions of a slipcase)…

I’m ridiculous excited about this – torn about which one to buy though. I have the original, original version of the album, so I don’t even have tracks like ‘Starstruck’ properly on CD.
Covers are iconic.

I’m not a big fan of the Gaga, but I will most likely buy this reissue, especially since I don’t own the original album. 8 brand new tracks is very generous.
Auspop, any idea if Lily’s “It’s Not Me, It’s You” cd/dvd re-issue is coming out in Australia? It’s out Nov 6 in the UK. I assume we’ll get it as well.

This may sound dumb, but, 10 000 copies nation-wide, or worldwide?
Since it’s only ten thousand copies… methinks I should get 2 ;)
The covers are pretty hot <3
