We like it when artists decide to go with a single in one territory and a different one in others. So ‘Blame It On The Guys’ is single No.2 from Mika’s album ‘The Boy Who Knew Too Much’ throughout most of the world, but here in Australia and in parts of Europe, it’s ‘Rain’. The cover for the single has now been revealed, as has the video – late last night.
In the clip, we gather from a milk carton that Mika’s gone missing, whereas it become blatantly obvious that he’s in fact not missing and that he has instead popped out into the middle of the woods to spend the rest of his days living in a prism, albeit a very colourful prism.
As he ventures deeper into the woods, he’s encircled by a gaggle of colourful creatures with bizarre headwear who seem to have amassed a collection of large illuminated balls. And if that wasn’t quite enough lighting for you, the clip finishes off with a rather amazing fireworks spectacular. They don’t come much more colourful than Mika.
