THE BELOVED : Satellite

We haven’t really heard all that much from UK dance outfit The Beloved since those heady clubbing days of the late 1990s, where they tore up the dancefloors with tracks from their album ‘X’, including this – the startlingly amazing ‘Satellite’. Testament to the track is the fact it still sounds so damned fresh after 13 years. The clip was a bit raunchy too – using a selection of models all in the nude, with only the shadows (and some well-placed limbs) protecting their modesty – just – though there’s the odd bum shot thrown in here and there to keep things on the edge. Great clip, great track.
