* Sony Music has unveiled to us the cover image to the forthcoming ‘Collector’s Edition’ of Pink’s ‘Funhouse’ set. And though we assumed they might tweak things slightly on the Australian version (the release is the same as the UK’s ‘Tour Edition’), it would appear that everything’s just the same – even the ‘tour edition’ imagery on the front. It’s in the shops on November 13.
* Over in the UK this week, X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has managed to hold off Wetlife and Jay Sean to maintain her strangehold on the UK singles chart, maintaining her No.1 position for the second week in a row. Westlife and Jay Sean debut at Nos.2 and 3 respectively. Her next single (and title track from her album) ‘3 Words’ also debuted in the top 30 – at No.26.
* Meanwhile on the albums chart, the Cheryl dominance continues, with her album ‘3 Words’ debuting in the top spot. It bagged more than 125,000 copies in it’s first week on sale to win the coveted position.
* Rumours out of the UK suggest that the Spice Girls may well come out of retirement yet again – this time to open the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Zig a zig ah.* Natalie Bassingthwaighte (left) has taken some (but not all) clothes off for the December edition of FHM magazine. You can take a peek at some of the images by clicking HERE.
* Lady Gaga has made history in the United States, become the first ever artist to have four singles from a debut album all reach the No.1 spot on the US airplay chart. The singer visits Australian shores for her first headlining tour in March.
* Sony Music signing Amy Meredith, whose new single ‘Pornstar’ hits the shops in a couple of weeks, have been announced as the support act for the forthcoming Aussie tour for Cobra Starship. The tour kicks off in Sydney on March 16.
* Speaking of Sony, they’re offering a Them Crooked Vultures track as a free download from the iTunes music stores. ‘Mind Eraser, No Chaser’ is available free from the iTunes store for one week only – and you head straight there by clicking HERE.
* And in the world of Twitter, Josh Pyke missed the Melbourne Cup (he was on a plane to Darwin), Michelle Branch likes a burger and bottle of wine, Britney Spears is currently on a V Australia plane, winging her way down under, Solange is out to boogie and Nadia Ali has discovered the delights of local band The Temper Trap.

Hey Anonymous,
It’s not on the local release schedule at the moment and we’d be surprised if they did, given they’ve only just released our own deluxe edition…
But the cover image for B’s US deluxe version is rather glamorous in colour.

Do you know if Australia will be getting the US re-release of Beyonce’s album “I Am…Sasha Fierce”?
We just got the Platinum Edition here, but evidently the US release will feature Beyonce’s collaboration with Lady Gaga.
