Isn’t it always the way? You’ve just given five lucky peeps the chance to see Delta Goodrem live at the Opera House and then whammo! The email lands in your inbox advising that due to an “allergic reaction from medication given for the treatment of a cold”, Delta Goodrem’s Christmas concert, planned for tomorrow night at the Sydney Opera House has had to be postponed.
In a statement issued by her publicist, Delta says, “To my dear friends and fans, I am extremely disappointed to tell you that I have to postpone my Opera House show this Sunday after being instructed to remain away and rest. Please hold onto your tickets and I promise to share a special night of music on Christmas Eve.”
Fans who are unable to make the new date are bring urged to seek refunds from the Sydney Opera House Box Office or keep hold of their tickets, which are transferrable to the new date of Thursday December 24.
