Hey team,
No, we’ve had no official confirmation from Sony about Amy Pearson being dropped, but it’s not the sort of press release Sony would send out. That said, it does seem to be the case though nothing’s been officially confirmed.
No word on ‘Broken Heels’ yet – the record companies are officially back on Monday.
And no chart info through to the auspOp newsdesk this year yet, so we can’t post chart figures.
Our apologies!

Aww,thanks Auspop by the way!
Still no chart watch update?

Is Broken Heels getting a release soon?
I heard it on radio today.

so there’s been nothing confirmed about Amy Pearson beingdropped?
It was in Thursdays Herald Sun.

Hey Brad,
No, no news yet on the Ke$ha follow-up single.
The record companies should be back on full power on Monday.
Next week’s release schedule should look quite a bit different.
And for MusicMan, as per above comment, we’ve had no sales information since late December, so we can’t help you out with ‘Release Me’ info, but it had disappeared from the ARIA top 100 by December 21.
The auspOp team
MusicMan says
Thanks for the info! Do you have Release Me weekly sales? Please….

Is there any news from Sony Music on what the second single from Ke$ha will be?
auspOp says
Hey team,
Re: AJ’s album, nothing on the schedules anywhere at this stage, but record companies don’t come back fully until next Monday.
Re: Amy, we’ve not heard any news about her being dropped by Sony.
Re: Gaga, don’t know just yet – as above, Universal’s newest release schedule should be with us by next week – we’ve not had one since mid December as they’ve been off on holidays (a bit like us).
Re: Agnes, yes – Neon Records wanted to do the second single just before Christmas, but it would’ve got swamped in the pre-Christmas releases. It’s generally a little quieter at this time of year, so they might stand a better chance with ‘I Need You Now’ at radio. Album should follow too. That said, we’ve had no sales information since late December, so we can’t help you out with ‘Release Me’ info, but it had disappeared from the ARIA top 100 by December 21.
