A singles collection titled ‘Evermore’ is due for release in the first quarter of the year.
* Michael Coppel has announced a second Sydney concert as part of the forthcoming ‘Troubadour Reunion’ tour by legendary performers Carole King and James Taylor. They’ll also play the Sydney Entertainment Centre on April 05, with tickets for the new date on sale on Tuesday February 02.
* Michael Coppel has also announced a third and final Melbourne show for Marianne Faithfull. She’ll now play three successive nights at the Forum Theatre in the Victorian capital, on February 5, 6 and 7. Tickets are on sale first thing Monday morning.
* The lads from British outfit Keane has revealed the tracklisting for their forthcoming ‘Night Train’ EP, release globally in early May (they’re getting in early, obviously). Fans can check out the details and place their order over at Keane’s Official Store.* Shannon Noll has been out of the public eye for quite some time, but he’s back thanks to a new duet with Australian recording legend John Williamson, ‘Island Of Oceans’ (pictured). Lifted from John’s retrospective, the track was “aimed to inspire pride in our place on earth.”
* The team from the Future Music Festival has announced another round of sideshows for 2010, with Booka Shade playing The Metro in Sydney on March 04 and the Forum Theatre in Melbourne on March 05. Sven Vath & Dubfire plays The Metro in Sydney on March 05.
