Yes, Lady Gaga is still headed for our shores next month, but Michael Coppel has today announced a number of changes for the tour including venue changes, date changes and even two new shows. According to the press release, the Monster Ball has undergone a major upgrade just in time for it’s Australian premiere and Gaga will bring it here packed aboard two Boeing 747 jets.
Sydney has had a venue change – both concerts (originally scheduled for the Hordern Pavillion) will now take place at the Sydney Entertainment Centre (dates stay the same).
Perth has also had a venue change – and instead of two shows at Challenge Stadium originally set down for April 1st and 2nd, there’s one massive show at Burswood Dome on April 01.
There are date changes in Canberra, Adelaide and Wollongong. The Canberra date, originally March 22, is now March 29. The Adelaide date, originally March 30, is now on April 03 and Wollongong’s concert has been rescheduled for April 05.
In addition to all these changes, two new dates have been added – one each in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Tickets for the new dates are on sale on Thursday February 25, with extra tickets for Perth also available on the same day.
