They need special trucks but surely the practicalities have to be arranged before collecting all that money? The tickets offered to fans who’d booked for the second concert were way up the back, so it wasn’t lack of sales. The council applied for road closures in New Zealand within 24 hours of the Perth announcement. How lucky were they all that the Bowl hadn’t already been booked for the venue’s anniversary weekend and public holiday!

Whitney has a history of cancelling Australian concerts. It’s almost a given that Perth was cancelled because she hadn’t sold enough tickets to make the visit worthwhile and that she’d make more money by going to New Zealand. It’s a shame for the WA fans, though.

Just found out about the cancellation of the Perth concert. They must think people are absolutely stupid. Surely there are trucks available somewhere in Australia to ship the staging across the plain. Very disappointed.

I’m thinking there won’t be too many widgets gathered by her WA fans after the cancellation of both concerts. One for ‘schedulling conflict’ and one for lack of transportation!! Yeah, right!!
Funny thing – she cancelled her
2nd concert and and two days later a NZ concert is announced for the same date.
Seems they can arrange a complete concert in 2 days, but just can’t manage to secure trucks with many months notice……
