Crooner Michael Buble and rapper K’naan were the big winners in last night’s Juno Music Awards, Canada’s answer to our Aria Awards.
Justin Bieber took to the stage for a scream-inducing version of his international hit ‘Baby’, Drake performed his new single ‘Over’, while K’naan closed the show with his single ‘Wavin’ Flag’.
But it was Michael Buble who scooped the pool with five awards including the Juno Fan Choice Award. His hit album ‘Crazy Love’ picked up the awards for Album Of The Year and Pop Album Of The Year, while his single ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ bagged the ‘Single Of The Year’ and ‘Producer Of The Year’ awards.
K’naan took out the coveted ‘Artist Of The Year’ and ‘Songwriter Of The Year’ awards, Kings Of Leon nabbed ‘International Album Of The Year’ for ‘Only By The Night’, and Deadmau5 bagged the ‘Dance Recording Of The Year’ for ‘For Lack Of A Better Name’.
