Can you believe it? The excitement is building, we can feel it in our waters… Today marks just one month before the first semi final in Eurovision 2010. Just one month before some of the kitschest, the campest and the most colourful music in the world takes to the stage in Oslo for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Once again, the competition is broken down into the two semi finals (on May 25 and 27) and the grand final on May 29. And we continue our look at some of the entries that will compete for European music’s ultimate prize.
BULGARIA : Miro – Angel Si Ti
The one thing we love about the Eurovision Song Contest is that all songs entered into it have to be just three minutes in length. Sometimes the songs can be too long (if we don’t like them) and sometimes not long enough (if we do like them). But we don’t know what it is for the singer of Bulgaria’s Eurovision entry, Miroslav Kostadinov (Miro for short). The track ‘Angel Si Ti’ translates into ‘You’re My Angel’ and though it’s uptempo and very pop, it seems to be completely devoid of a chorus, save for a couple of ‘Oh Ohs’. Interesting to see what the voters make of this one.
