Just over a month to go before some of the kitschest, the campest and the most colourful music in the world takes to the stage in Oslo for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Once again, the competition is broken down into two semi finals (on May 25 and 27) and the grand final on May 29. And we continue our look at some of the entries that will compete for European music’s ultimate prize.
MALTA : Thea Garrett – My Dream
18 year old Thea Garrett is Malta’s entry for Eurovision 2010. The red-headed songstress is following up her 2009 single ‘My Tomorrow’ with ‘My Dream’ – a soaring ballad that follows on from the UK’s 2009 entry by Jade Ewen, ‘My Time’. It’s all about the singer’s dreams of winning the Eurovision song contest. But beyond a rather superb voice and a dress that seems to have a mind of it’s own in the video below, we think she’ll be up against it to make it to the May 29 grand final.
