* We neglected to mention earlier in the week that Universal Music has officially serviced Cascada’s new single ‘Pyromania’ to Australian radio. The track’s so fresh, it’s not even available on the band’s latest album ‘Evacuate The Dancefloor’, which was only released here six months ago.
* Also at radio this week was the new Iyaz single ‘Solo’, Stone Temple Pilot’s new track ‘Between The Lines’, Tame Impala’s ‘Solitude Is Bliss’ and Kelis’s ‘Acapella’.
* EMI has announced that the new album for The Chemical Brothers will drop at Aussie retail on June 04. The band’s new album ‘Further’ starts with “what sounds like an alien morse code transmission” and each track on the album will be accompanied by a short film.
* Who’ll score the coveted No.1 most added song next week? Odds on it’s between Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson after both singer’s new tracks were picked up by the 2Day and Nova networks last week.
* The Strokes are coming to Australia in July for just two shows. They’ll play Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion on July 29 and Melbourne’s Festival Hall on July 30. Tickets for both gigs are on sale on Monday April 12.
* Sony Music are about to service the long, long, long-awaited second single from last year’s Australian Idol Stan Walker. The new track is called ‘Unbroken’ and is the first taster of Stan’s forthcoming album. It goes to radio on Friday April 09.* We may be a couple of weeks behind on this, so our apologies, but Robyn has placed a brand new track called ‘Fembots’ up on her OFFICIAL SITE to give fans a taste of what to expect from her new album, rumoured to be called ‘Body Talk’, due this year.
* Train have scored themselves the No.1 most played song in the country this week for their new single ‘Hey, Soul Sister’. The highest placed Aussie artist on the list is the John Butler Trio – in at No.10 with ‘Close To You’.
* Over on the US charts, Rihanna’s ‘Rude Boy’ maintains it’s run in the No.1 position on the Billboard singles chart, keeping B.o.B’s ‘Nothing On You’ at bay for another week. Train’s ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ is making it’s move for the top, though – up to No.3 this week.
* On the Billboard album chart, Justin Bieber becomes the youngest male since Stevie Wonder to debut in the No.1 position (with his album ‘My Worlds’). It looks like Monica most certainly is ‘Still Standing’, with a strong debut for her new album at No.2. Debuting at No.3 is the latest in the series of ‘Now’ compilations and at No.6, it’s a debut for She & Him.
* And a fan of iconic Aussie flick ‘Mad Max’ has put together a rather brilliant mash-up between it and the video for the Gorillaz’ track ‘Stylo’. The similarities between the two are rather staggering, but the clip is completely addictive. Watch it HERE.

Hey Aaron,
It’s pretty likely that ‘Pyromania’ won’t get a CD release for the time being, though the ‘Evacuate The Dancefloor’ album may get a re-package.
It’ll be digital only, but it’s still not appeared on the release schedule.

Okies – Thanks very much!
Firstly, Is there plans for Pyromania to get a CD release or release on an album of some kind, or is it digital only at this stage?
Yay for Robyn!
