When it comes to using the term ‘long overdue’, it couldn’t be more appropriate in this instance, because Yusuf Islam (formerly known as Cat Stevens) is heading to Australia after an absence of 36 years. In intimate arena mode, the singer will visit all the major capitals during his June visit, performing some of the songs that have made him an icon – ‘Father And Son’, ‘Morning Has Broken’, ‘The First Cut Is The Deepest’, ‘Peace Train’, ‘Moon Shadow’ just to name a few.
Tickets for the tour, presented by Dainty Consolidated, are on sale on Thursday May 06.
