Young Mark Vincent’s life changed forever when he won Channel 7’s ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ this time last year. His debut album ‘My Dream, Mio Visione’ was released shortly thereafter to capitalise on both the hype surrounding his win and the pre-Mother’s Day sales period. It’s since gone on to sell more than 100,000 copies and is still top five on the Aussie classical albums chart one year on.
But on the eve of Mother’s Day 2010, Mark is back with his second album ‘Compass’. The disc (pictured) features 11 new recordings, including cover versions of Roy Orbison’s iconic ‘Crying’, the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ and a duet with Greta Bradman, granddaughter of cricketing great Don.
To celebrate the disc’s release this Friday, Mark will meet public in a series of instore appearances, kicking off at the Flemington Market in Sydney this Friday. Catch him at one of the venues below;
