It’s now less than a month before the Norwegian capital Oslo comes alive to the sound of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Two semi finals (on May 25 and May 27) will see a host of countries battling it out to make it all the way to the big event – the grand final – on May 29.
As the countdown continues, we look at the entries that are vying for the ultimate prize in European popular music.
Denmark will take part in the second semi final on May 27.
DENMARK : Chanée & N’Evergreen – In A Moment Like This
No, no – it’s not the Leona Lewis/Kelly Clarkson track of the same name. But a duet between Russian artist Tomas N’evergreen and Christina Chanée. Tomas unsuccessfully attempted to become the Russian entry in 2009, before teaming up with Christina to become the 2010 Danish entry. And though the track is a soft rock number, it works thanks to some canny chord arrangements and some pretty decent vocals. Liking this.
