IRELAND : Niamh Kavanagh – It’s For You
This isn’t the first time that Niamh Kavanagh will have taken to the stage for Ireland as part of the Eurovision Song Contest. The 42 year old songstress also represented Ireland in 1993, eventually winning the competition. Fast forward 17 years and she’s back with ‘It’s For You’, a beautiful, yet straightforward ballad, with a few extra pan pipes thrown in so you know where it’s from. There’s also the obligatory key change so you know that the song’s destined for the Eurovision stage.
