In 2009, Alexander Rybak won the Eurovision Song Contest for Norway with his hit single ‘Fairytale’ – a track which even spent time in the Aussie top 100 singles chart. As is tradition, the winning country has the privilege of hosting the competition the following year – and so we’re off to Norway for the 2010 edition.
Given they’re the hosts, we’ve decided to hold our look of Norway’s entry right ’til the end. So this brings us to the very last ‘Countdown To Eurovision’ entry for 2010.
As the winner of last year’s competition, Norway has automatic entry into the grand final.
NORWAY : Didrik Solli-Tangen – My Heart Is Yours
We were giggling a little bit at the end of this clip from Didrik Solli-Tangen – simply after watching the SBS Eurovision special on Saturday night. A Eurovision drinking game suggests you should skull your drink with every ‘money note’ in a song, and you should take a sip for every key change and any sign of fireworks. You’ll get drunk just between 2:10 and 2:22 in this song, and you’ll need to refill your glass twice more before the end of the song. Best then to take Monday off work. Quite liking this track.

haha, I usually only apply those rules to events that are unbearable without alcohol (races, cricket, etc) but it’d be interesting to see what it’ll be like applying them to a eurovision :)
What’s your favorite song this year? And are you guys going to a special party?
