A little bit of good news today for fans of Guy Sebastian, with his label Sony Music revealing a physical CD single of his new track ‘Never Hold You Down’. Though the track has so far failed to gain traction with radio, and there’s no tracklisting for it just yet, fans can currently expect a physical single at retail on Friday August 13. Though this may alter if the track doesn’t get airplay.

I reckon if they don’t put it on radio enough, play it on TV. Disappointed that ”Never hold you down” is doing so badly.

I love this catchy tune – still hearing the third single “All To Myself” on the radio but I would really love to hear this one on the airwaves – the 3D video is a killer!
There doesn’t seem to be too much Australian content getting a spin on top 40 style radio stations these days with radio really only interested in supporting international acts and their songs – go figure???
I do wish Australian listeners would support Australian artists the way they do the international autotune formula tunes!

I love Never Hold You Down
I think it is very radio friendly, very catchy & the video is brilliant. It’s about time Australia got behind their own and played Aussies on the radio, what is wrong with us.
If it isn’t played on the radio HOW then are you supposed to hear the song.
I hope we get a physical single I love to collect them

It really was an odd choice for single release, not very radio friendly. “Attention” or “Undo” would have been better options.

hoping that he can give us some more of HIS music then. We know he’s always writing, and many B side tracks are my favourites, like the jazz “Never Ever Said Goodbye” (Elevator Love) or the rather special “Only Girl in Town” (Like it Like That iTunes) – crossing fingers. Thanks

Wow auspOp. That is a strange date. 2 months after it was digitally released. And the lack of radio play for the song is just plain sad. With almost no radio play it is currently sitting at #56 on Bandit, and is only a few spots away from Brian McFadden’s new song (which is getting tons of radio time) on itunes. Chemical Romance #90, Never Hold You Down #109. If only radio would cut the song a break it might have a chance to get somewhere.
