We’re a bit surprised that no-one’s seriously tapped into this market before, but with EMI set to release their own compilation called ‘Running Songs’ in September, Ministry Of Sound has got the jump, readying their own fitness compilation ‘Running Trax’ for release early next month.
Described as a “must-have mix of die-hard workout classics”, ‘Running Trax’ is 3CDs packed with plenty of stomping tunes to get your heartbeat racing.
Disc one is the up-tempo walk or jog disc (remixes of ‘Poker Face’ and ‘I Gotta Feeling’), disc two takes the BPM up a few notches with the likes of Richard Vission, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, David Guetta and Empire Of The Sun, while disc three takes it to another level entirely, with a selection of high energy dancefloor tunes from the likes of Sash!, Darude, Fragma and many more.
As an aside to the tunes, the booklet will also feature tips and techniques put together by the fun folk at Fitness First.
‘Running Trax’ is scheduled to hit the stores on August 06.

I think it may be :
Various – This Is Dubstep Vol.1
i think that might be the next Ministry of Sound Release.
Is it true that ‘Various – This Is Dubstep Vol.1’ might be released on MoS after Running trax ?

Well….
Here’s some info I made for ‘Runnning Trax’;
Research at Brunel University in the UK has shown music can increase endurance by up to 15%, and dance music is recognised as the most motivating genre of all. As the world leaders in dance compilations, Ministry of Sound have used their expertise to compile the ultimate get up and go music.
The album features 3 CDs of upbeat dance anthems, each disc specially designed to provide the best possible motivation. Disc one features funky floor-fillers from the likes of Miami Horror, Armand van Helden and Mobin Master, as well as dance versions of smashes ‘Poker Face’ and ‘When Love Takes Over ’. Disc 2 pumps with Electro anthems from Richard Vission, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, David Guetta and Kid Cudi. Finally at maximum pace is disc 3 with some classic Trance from Sgt Slick, Chicane, Cascada and Sash!
Not content at simply providing the ultimate running soundtrack the album also includes a booklet packed with fun facts, tips & techniques from the helpful team at Fitness First to make sure you get the best out of your running experience.
Get your pulse racing this Spring with Running Trax!

Hey Anonymous,
Hilariously, we cut & paste the tracklist from Ministry’s own press-release – and it would seem they’re not there either!
On further investigation deep into Universal’s inner sanctum, however, we can reveal that disc one has 19 tracks, so No.8 is actually No.6, No.9 is actually No.7 and so on.
Ian Carey is track 17, Rihanna is track 18, and Jakatta is track 19.
